Dr. Luis Campos

The vision, dedication and determination of Dr. Luis T. Campos inspired the creation of Oncology Consultants. Providing cancer and hematology patients with the most advanced treatments possible along with the convenience of being cared for near their home was and is his goal.

His wife, Cecilia, helps further his vision in her role of Practice Administrator. Patients appreciate Dr. Campos's thoroughness as well as his informed insight into the latest treatments and clinical studies. His colleagues appreciate his leadership as well as his dedication to excellence. His staff is equally enthusiastic as they know how much he truly cares for his patients.

Many of Oncology Consultants' international patients seek his care as he and the practice are highly regarded throughout the southern hemisphere. Dr. Campos speaks English and Spanish fluently.Dr. Luis T. Campos is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Campos completed his undergraduate education in his native Peru at the San Augustin University Faculty of Medicine, Arequipa, Peru. He then attended Medical School at the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia, Lima, Peru. For his Internship, he chose the Navy Medical Center, Lima, Peru which he followed with an Internal Medicine Internship at Bon Secours Hospital, Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

For his Residency, he trained at the Graduate Hospital, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and at University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He completed his Fellowship training in Medical Oncology at the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Campos sees patients at Memorial City, Katy, Sugar Land and St. Luke's. He has served on the Cancer Committees of major hospitals throughout the Houston area including service on the Steering Committee of the Network Advisory Committee of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Campos and his wife have two adult children. Away from the practice, they enjoy collecting Latin American Art, attending area cultural events, and travel, especially to Europe and Latin America. Tennis also reigns as a favored pastime.
